When the murder of a local hero rocks a small Alpine village, no-nonsense cop Awa Sissako is sent from the Parisian suburbs to investigate and is forced to face her own demons in the process.

The film follows two childhood best friends, Maya and Anjali, who join their college’s competitive Bollywood dance team only to discover that the road to winning the national championship is far more raucous and cutthroat than they ever imagined.

She is 25 years old, lives with her father and does advertising for an online casino in her video blog. The father works as cashier in a grocery shop and irons the daughter’s socks. But half an hour ago he decided that it is time to stop that.
